Thank you for your support, the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity fundraising team. Dare to bare in support of your local NHS at Ilfracombe’s Tunnels Beach this November. It’ll be refreshing. It’ll be empowering. It’ll be a brilliant way to promote body positivity and help power up cancer care for local people at North Devon District Hospital. This is an entirely female-only event and there will be no males on the beach. The beautiful Tunnels beaches offer a completely private experience. All staff, volunteers, first aiders, life guards, entertainment etc. will be female to ensure participants feel as comfortable and empowered as possible. Date: Sunday 3rd November 2024 Location: Tunnels Beaches, Bath Place, Ilfracombe, EX34 8AN Reg Fee: Registration is £20 and is limited to 250 women. It includes entry to the iconic Tunnels Beach, a goody bag including a bespoke event bobble hat, and a mug of hot chocolate on the beach to warm up after your dip. Minimum Sponsorship: We ask you to try to raise £100 in sponsorship, 50% of which will go towards breast cancer Breast care NDDH, with the other 50% going towards wellbeing support for cancer patients at the hospital’s Fern Centre. Timings: 9 am – Arrival, check-in and bag drop 10 am – Warm-up 10.25 am – Safety briefing 10.30 am – Tops off and toes in 10.50 am – Goody bags and bag collection 11.30 am – Event ends
