My Story
Denise and Clive have been regulars at Libbaton Golf Club for the past 5–7 years, but this year they’re taking on a truly special challenge.
At around 4:30am, as the first light of day reaches the course, they will begin golfing — and they won’t stop until the very last ray of sunlight fades. From sunrise to sunset, they’ll be playing all day in support of Royal Devon Hospitals Charity, raising vital funds for the Fern Centre.
The Fern Centre, based at North Devon District Hospital, provides incredible support for people affected by cancer. From counselling and wellbeing services to practical advice and a calm, welcoming space, it offers comfort and care during some of life’s most difficult moments. The centre relies solely on charitable donations to continue its work.
