In June 2026 the Exeter children and young people's diabetes team are organising an activities weekend for a group of 25 young people with Type 1 diabetes at River Dart Country Park. The event with be hosted and run by CRS adventures with the paediatric diabetes team supporting all medical needs. It is a great way for young people with type 1 diabetes to meet others with the same condition, build confidence with managing their condition independently, share the challenges and build resilience. Your kind donations will go towards this amazing opportunity for our young people and for the team who will gain a valuable insight into their lived experiences.
