My Story

We are raising money for a new treatment couch for the Stoma Department. We are a free stoma support group who meet every first Monday of the month in Honiton.  We combine chatting, advice, neurolinguistic programming techniques and physical exercise for anyone with a stoma, no matter how you acquired it. As a group we wanted to show the world that having a stoma doesn't stop you from doing anything and have a goal to get really fit. The group wished to raise some money for the stoma department to say thank you for being so wonderful, and so the Jurrasic coast challenge was born. Some of the stoma nurses speacilist nurses and surgeons/consultants will be joining in on the walk and it is open to anyone either with a stoma or a family member for friend with one. Please help to support our fund raising and walk as this is a area of medicine which is brushed under the carpet and never talked about. We on the other hand are confident enough to shout from the hilltops.

Thank you

Su Dave
