Being a medically vulnerable child I am no stranger to being poorly and picking up coughs, colds and bugs , often needing medical help from the RD&E.
Having a child friendly area in the Emergency Department would make a world of difference. At the moment children like me have to sit in a sectioned area of the adult A & E – Very clinical, nothing bright & visual, no stimulation to ease the wait times.
I would like to do everything I can to help towards raising the funds!
